Before you call
What should I have ready for the first call?
Nothing is required, but it helps to know roughly when you married, whether there are minor children, whether anything has already been filed, and what you most want at the end. If you have been served with papers, have the date you received them. David will walk you through the rest.
Is the form confidential?
Yes. Form submissions and calls go only to the firm. Contacting the firm does not create an attorney-client relationship by itself, but what you share is treated as confidential whether or not you hire the firm. Please do not include detailed financial or account information in the form; that can wait for the consultation.
Can we meet by phone or video instead of in person?
Yes. Many consultations happen by phone, and video is available when that is easier. In-person meetings are at the office at 120 E Lockwood Ave in Webster Groves, St. Louis County, with parking nearby.
Does the firm take cases outside St. Louis County?
Yes. The firm regularly appears in St. Louis City and St. Louis County and handles cases in the surrounding Missouri counties in the St. Louis area. If your case is filed somewhere David does not practice, he will tell you on the first call.
